Hotel Packages or Caravan Park Holidays?

When it comes to planning a holiday or a short break there are a number of things that need careful consideration, the three most obvious being dates, location and type of accommodation required. Dates are obviously the easiest decision to make and other commitments usually make this the first thing to be ticked off the list. The location aspect requires a bit more thought and can usually be placed into one of three options, coastal, city or countryside. For many people the coast is the most favoured option, fresh clean air, rugged scenery and plenty of space to expel any frustrations or excess energy, particularly popular for families.

Hotels are obviously in abundance in most coastal regions but caravan park holidays may be a better choice for those with small children and those who like the flexibility to come and go as they please. Caravan holidays have been popular choices for UK holidaymakers ever since the concept of the holiday became an accepted part of family life and most of the newer caravan parks have all the facilities one could ever want including onsite restaurants, swimming pools and also club houses. For those who do not wish to lift a finger whilst on holiday a hotel stay may be a better option. Maid service, ready cooked meals and a general feeling of being pampered are just three reasons why a stay in a nice hotel may be the preferred option for some especially for those who work long hours with little respite for the remainder of the year.
